THE OPPORTUNITY
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Site Supervisor on a fixed term 12 month contract to apply their skills in delivering turnkey HV/LV electrical vehicle infrastructure construction projects. This role will report to the Senior Project Manager and work closely with the Delivery Projects Team, Technical Sales, Product, Operations, and client teams.
Successful candidates will be able to quickly establish themselves as the single POC for all site works whilst working with and monitoring the principal contractor & other subcontractors construction activities to achieve the required project delivery objectives, standards of quality and maintaining health and safety, quality & environmental requirements.
They will work closely with the senior PM or PM to monitor and maintain client relations and ensure project measures of success are met.
This role will be 100% site-based, with potential work across multiple locations in the Sydney area. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience within the construction sector who has developed throughout their career and retains the ability to understand the comprehensive input required on site.
A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY
- Assume overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project on-site.
- Monitor the principal contractor and other subcontractors to ensure they work safely, in compliance with Australian Health & Safety and Environmental regulations, and according to company policies and procedures.
- Inspect and monitor all aspects of construction work on a day-to-day basis.
- Escalate defects and non-conformances promptly.
- Ensure the implementation of Project Plans, Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Waste Management Plans in compliance with Zenobe and Australian legislative requirements.
- Directly managing contractors on site to ensure the works are delivered in line with the contracted obligations and meet all quality, safety and programme requirements.
- Keep detailed records of work progress, issues, and activities on-site.
- Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager (SPM) to produce progress reports and lookahead schedules.
- Monitor and control project changes and variations.
- Provide problem-solving and facilitation support when issues arise.
- Interface directly with the client, ensuring excellent client relations.
- Work across multiple sites as required within the Sydney metro area.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Essential Competencies:
- Relevant experience in delivering HV/LV electrical infrastructure construction projects.
- Hands-on experience and ability to interpret civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering drawings and standards.
- Strong knowledge of Australian Health & Safety and Environmental regulations, design and construction standards, and quality assurance.
- Relevant Health & Safety certifications (e.g., White Card, Work Health and Safety qualifications).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong planning and organisational skills.
- Proactive, pragmatic, and solution-driven approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Desire to work in the renewable energy and e-Mobility sectors.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Full Australian Driver’s License.
- Flexibility with working locations in Sydney.
Desirable but Non-Essential Skills:
- Previous experience working with electric vehicle charging infrastructure or similar.
- Experience delivering HV/LV networks in a hands-on capacity.
- Experience managing relationships with Distribution Network Service Providers (DNSPs).
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS).
- Project management.
- Commercial and contract management experience (AS/NZS 4902).
