THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist on a four‑month contract to support the accelerated onboarding of new suppliers across our services and technology categories. This role will be responsible for defining, negotiating, and implementing service level agreements (SLAs), supporting the development of contracts, and ensuring commercial robustness throughout the onboarding process.
The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial awareness, hands‑on experience with service‑based procurement, and familiarity with IT and/or automotive—ideally EV‑related supply environments.
A BIT ABOUT THE DAY TO DAY
Lead the end‑to‑end onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring all due‑diligence, compliance, and commercial requirements are met.
Draft, negotiate, and finalise Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure clear performance expectations and measurable outcomes.
Support creation and execution of contracts, including commercial terms, pricing models, KPIs, and risk‑mitigation frameworks.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (legal, technical, operations, sustainability) to ensure suppliers meet business, regulatory, and ESG standards.
Drive effective commercial negotiations that achieve best value and align with organisational objectives.
Maintain procurement records, templates, and reporting to support governance and audit requirements.
Contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes related to services, IT, and automotive supply chains.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in procurement, ideally within services, IT, automotive, or EV‑related environments.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate complex agreements.
Experience drafting and managing SLAs and supplier performance frameworks.
Ability to interpret technical and service‑based requirements and translate them into robust commercial documents.
Strong understanding of supplier onboarding, risk management, and compliance expectations.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to work independently at pace and manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
For Ilinois / NYC Compensation Description (annually):
Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location.
Base pay is one part of the total package that is provided to compensate and recognise employees for their work and any role at Zenobē, regardless of the location, is eligible for additional discretionary bonuses.
Base salary per annum:
USD$40,000 - USD$50,000
